Artists in Christmas open house
Artists in the Prudhoe area will be opening their studios to the public as part of the Christmas Art Tour 2008.
The Tour takes place in 20 studios between November 14 and December 15 and includes painters, potters, ceramicists, jewellery makers, photographers and craft makers.

The artists include landscape painter Walter Holmes at Heddon Women's Institute on November 22 and 23.
There will also be an event at Wylam Institute on November 29 and 30 featuring artists Catherine Stott, Caroline Coode, Rose Furlonger, Anne and Fiona MacDonald and Helen Cowans, while Carol Nunan and Rebecca Vincent, pictured, will throw open the doors of their converted 17th century manse in Horsley.
Seascape artist Sarah Riseborough will be holding open house at her Belford studio, and ceramicist Steph Jamieson will be doing the same at a former dairy at Allendale. In nearby Catton, Jos Mahon will be opening up her studio to show work from her recent travels.
Other artists taking part this Christmas include Mick Oxley at Craster, Karen Willis in Morpeth and Pam Vardy in Shilbottle.
The full details of the tour are available at www.networkartists.org.uk.
