Charity Zumbathon in Prudhoe
Sent in by Lorna Hodgson
I have just signed up for the Great North Fitness Revolution.
I am a Fitness Instructor myself - aged 70 yrs - and would just like to pass on information to anyone interested in a 'ZUMBATHON' workout!
A group of us are organising a CHARITY ZUMBATHON for anyone who would like to come along and give it a try.
There will be a ZUMBA KIDS session and ZUMBA GOLD (gentler low impact session) as well as 2 energetic sessions for ZUMBA enthusiasts.
This will be happening on Sunday, July 3rd (1pm - 5pm) at Prudhoe and Mickley Unionist Club, West Road, Prudhoe.
We are hoping to raise money for 3 charities: MNDA (Motor Neurone), Marie Curie Cancer Care and Tynedale Hospice.
There will be a tombola, raffles, cream teas, face painting for kids, etc.
We also hold a few fitness classes between Monday and Friday:- eg. Pilates, bootcamp, workouts and Zumba! If anyone is interested, they can contact me: Lorna Hodgson, tel 01661 833745
We'd like to hear from you. Send your stories, pics and videos to northumberland@ncjmedia.co.uk
